DEVELOPMENT

Initial proposal; existing entrance to Essoldo on Edge Lane is maintained and used as primary Threshold to site. Edge lane properties are redeveloped to form main programmatic elements of scheme. Land adjacent to canal undergoes redevelopment. Main studios are situated to rear of building so as to be furthest away from the road i.e. the quietest part of the site.

Atrium space fills void between Edge Lane and the canal, providing the main circulation space through the site.

Addition of site office for recording studios encloses â€‹landscaped area and creates a private threshold to site. This also shields parking spaces from view.
