STRENGTHS

Internal landscaping within studio warehouse creates an attractive undercover social space that can be utilised all year round (regardless of weather). Situating bars / cafes next to canal gives opportunities for riverside development.

Landscaping facing inwards from canal is perhaps a missed opportunity for creating a dialog with the canal

OPPORTUNITIES

Amphitheatre space with grassy lawn provides a flexible performance space that can be used for a variety of activities throughout the year.

THREATS

Creating a threshold to the site at the top of the hill may create accessibility issues due to the height of its topography.
